Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience with designing of experiments, quality testing, data analysis and program management.
  • 3 years of experience in people management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience as a quality testing lead in user acceptance, functional, regression, and usability.
  • Ability to build and scale operations in a fast-paced, high growth environment.
  • Ability to be a team player who operates effectively and collaborates across multiple disciplines and cultures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to engage and influence executive stakeholders and leadership.
  • Excellent investigative, problem-solving, negotiation and organizational skills.

Fast-paced, dynamic, and proactive, YouTube’s Trust & Safety team is dedicated to making YouTube a safe place for users, viewers, and content creators around the world to create, and express themselves. Whether understanding and solving their online content concerns, navigating within global legal frameworks, or writing and enforcing worldwide policy, the Trust & Safety team is on the frontlines of enhancing the YouTube experience, building internet safety, and protecting free speech in our ever-evolving digital world.

In this role, you help build lasting frameworks and processes to build for scale. You will be proactive, motivated, organized, responsible, innovative and work well in a fast-paced, global, cross-functional, and team-oriented environment while demonstrating technical know-how, effective communication and getting things done. You will be involved in leading and coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for large platform migrations and new releases.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of incubation program managers to execute incubation projects setting up experiments, tool testing and incubation, policy incubation and classifier training efforts end-to-end. 
  • Work closely with engineers and interact cross-functionally with a wide variety of teams to improve operational efficiency via process improvements, automation and tooling updates.
  • Define success criteria, lead and coordinate efforts with cross-functional teams, manage schedules and risks and own the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting. Manage stakeholder expectations through effective communication and manage change.
  • Make business recommendations (e.g., cost-benefit, forecasting, experiment analysis) with effective presentations of findings at multiple levels of stakeholders through visual displays of quantitative information.
