Prob one of my fav episodes so far, genuinely engaging fight and really loving extensive usage of Blood Manipulation outside of the Kamo guy, and when water was found to be BM's weaknesses it really puts this fight at a higher stake than it already is
Great animation and choreography, tho same parts i do find it a bit off but I don't mind at all and don't blame anyone considering MAPPA's abysmal working conditions, so this was really great all around.
but honestly was a little disappointed with how they reveal the brother twist. I was spoiled beforehand but I didn't know the gist of why, so I made a theory that Choso is gonna reveal a secret technique, but found that it's not working because the blood is related or some, so I was shocked that it was just a random non-existent memory (and maybe Sukuna interfering???) at the last second.
but still the whole fight is super engaging to watch and it was genuinely nerve-racking, great episode.
The Shibuya Incident is indeed something else... The lore is already well explained at this point and the watcher only need to enjoy the magistral fights worthy of Mappa.
Surprisingly intense fight with some very fun animation. Loses its tactical aspect very quick though and turns into a pure brawl. Why exactly Jujis left punch at the end didnt hit isnt explained. In any case, Juji gets defeated and apparently gets saved by some genjutsu technique from Sukana (i think thats his name).
The animation in this episode in particular is kinda insane. The fight choreography is maybe some of the best I have ever seen. They really managed to get the most out of the spaces they put these characters into.
Very good episode, Itadori is not yet at the level of these sorcerers/cursers but he gave Choso a good fight although if Mechamaru had not helped him maybe he would have died with the manipulation of compressed blood... bah, I don't know, maybe Sakuna will intervene.
I didn't understand those false flashbacks of Choso at all, could it be some technique from another sorcerer? We'll see, I guess.
I knew that those 2 girls that Geto looked after were going to have some role
The sudden tone shift at the end was so wacky but it did have me thoroughly weirded out. I see how Choso was able to skyrocket up the list of popular JJK characters
Yay Choso gets more screen time in a fight against itadori, and what was that last scene with all Choso’s brothers, Choso, and itadori eating together?
Nanamin kicking the absolute crap out of one of the sorcerers that killed our close subordinate was such a satisfying scene to watch. The way the sorcerers kept on begging and trying to apologize while Nanamin didn't care and just kept pummeling him was amazing !!I loved watching the scenes where he was being thrown around by Naanamin especially, but also seeing Megumi and Itadori beat that old f*** was also banger of scenes to watch. All in all, the fight scenes in the this episode were in particular the best !!
Oh man that was one of the best fight scenes of all time. The back-and-forth and how it kept us on our toes subverting the conclusions of the fight - that was great. But the presentation was next fucking level. The emphasis on composition, the contrast in the lighting, the way panels of the screen faded in and out as Choso experienced cognitive distortion, the VHS bit, the KRAUTROCK SOUNDTRACK. bro.
JJK stans sleep on how arthouse this anime is. Incredible.
i watched 37 episodes actually for this one choso episode. actually i expected chosoXmegumi fight but it was worth to watching too. i can wait for tojiXmegumi episode now :)
