The first list is arbitrary, none of them have an article. For michelin stars, we already have List of Michelin-starred restaurants in the Netherlands Dajasj (talk) 21:31, 8 March 2025 (UTC)

  Strong keep The first list is arbitrary, but it does have 2-3 references. The restaurants can be added or removed. There is also the page List of restaurants in Rotterdam, List of restaurants in New York City, List of restaurants in London, List of restaurants in Paris, List of restaurants in Vienna etc. Many capital cities have their own list of restaurants pages. This page's list of Michelin restaurants in Amsterdam is clearer and complete. The Rotterdam and New York City pages also have arbitrary lists. So a city specific list of restaurants is permitted and useful, because it's specifically about restaurants in that city for a quick overview. -Artanisen (talk) 21:45, 8 March 2025 (UTC)

• Delete per TNT. While restaurant lists for large cities are justified given the abundance of lists, guides, and articles out there, this particular article exemplifies how not to construct such lists. Although AFDISNOTCLEANUP, the current structure of this article is so poor that we are better off without it. If this happens to be changed into a list with a positive net value during the AfD, please ping me. gidonb (talk) 02:37, 9 March 2025 (UTC)

  Disagree, why are these pages still on Wikipedia: List of restaurants in Rotterdam, List of restaurants in New York City, List of restaurants in London, List of restaurants in Paris, List of restaurants in Vienna etc? The article structure is not really worse than those other city restaurant lists. Artanisen (talk) 09:54, 9 March 2025 (UTC)

It is far worse! Here we get an endless list of restaurants proposed to be notable, a largely empty table, very few links, and a rediculous reliance on prestigious restaurant listings as if these were our new P&G. This list is as half baked and wrongly baked as lists can get! It's so extreme that WP is better off without this list in its current state. gidonb (talk) 14:14, 9 March 2025 (UTC)
