| Both shows are good, I don't think there is a 'better show'. It's more up to someone's personal opinion. Either way I'd say find out yourself by watching it and ignoring people saying that this or that is better |

| I've seen over 9,000 anime episodes if you count rewatches. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood has been my #1 anime ever since it came out. (It's also been ranked #1 here for many years.) Attack On Titan, on the other hand, is probably not even in my top 40, although it has my favorite anime soundtrack. Like, Attack On Titan season 3 part 2 is a 4/10 at best for me, whereas FMAB is easily a 10/10. |

| Well, I haven't seen AOT but I don't plan on watching it anytime soon. According to my friend who's seen the fist season, it's really overrated; not horrible but nowhere near as good as people say it is. Another one of those where you think "THIS is what people rave about?" You know, like Cowboy Bebop. Yet, it is really popular so there must be something about it that draws people. FMAB, on the other hand, is absolutely phenomenal. I recently watched it for the first time like two weeks ago and I agree that it is one of the best anime series' I've ever seen. That said, it's not a 10/10 in my opinion but, nonetheless, it is a fantastic series. I could see how it might not be for everyone (it's quite violent and dark at times), but the story and numerous messages it has throughout are great. I would highly recommend it to anyone who likes a good anime. Also, it took me like 10+ episodes to get into it so I don't consider all the people who "dropped it in 3 episodes" to have valid opinions; some series' take a little time to get going and, trust me, once FMAB gets going it REALLY gets going. :) In the end, it's ultimately up to you if you like FMAB or AOT better, we all have our own opinions; there isn't a right or wrong choice here. I hope you enjoy FMAB if you decide to watch it though! :) |
| Both are really good. But both of them start a bit slow, Aot's entire first season is very slow in terms of actual plot development and the same can be said for the first 16-17 eps of Fmab, but don't let this fool you because both of these shows are well worth your time. For me Fmab comes out on top just because it is "Finished" and Aot still has yet to wrap up with a fitting conclusion. But hey, Maybe this final season of Aot might change my opinion. Just watch them both and you'll most likely like them both. |

| I liked AoT a lot better than FMAB. It's hard for me to find flaws in AoT, while FMAB was just above average for me. The characters were just pretty bland, nice soundtrack though. |

| Attack on Titan by far. Not that FMA:B is bad, but it definitely lacks ambition (which is why FMA 03 is better). One of the things that annoys me a lot is how people unfairly criticize AoT characters, mainly because AoT is an extremely subtle series when it comes to character development, so most people just don't see said development. Especially Eren, he develops a lot over the course of all the seasons, but like I said, most people just don't see it, so he gets a lot of shit (see this essay for example which explains his development). I mean, how can you say that the characters in AoT are bland when even Bertolt, a character who appears like in 100 pages at best, has a 17 paragraph long essay? And add to that that the manga's latest arcs are downright amazing. |

| See all the conflicting responses? This is why you need to watch things and come to your own conclusion. Both anime have spectacular soundtracks that are worth listening through on their own. (Preferably with lossless files and high-end audio gear. The latter can make the music sound a lot more realistic.) The AOT soundtrack is like rollercoasters and fireworks while the FMAB soundtrack is like drinking fine wine in a mansion overlooking a warzone in the distance. |

| Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is superior in my eyes. Though both are pretty overhyped in my opinion. I gave Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood a 7/10 and Attack on Titan a 4/10 here on myanimelist. You should watch it anyway though and form your own opinion. Maybe you enjoy it. |
