| OOOOoooh, this episode made me angry (in a good way), but more on that later. I liked that they reinforced the idea of Hina being Rei's lifesaver by showing that scene again. It makes his motivations that much more understandable and realistic. Rei brought cherries! Now I sort of want some cherries. It was funny seeing Rei realize he has no idea how to hold back. Even with two pieces, a pro can easily slaughter a new player like Hina, huh? I think Rei letting Takahashi know what was going on with Hina was the right call. What Hina needs right now is someone in and out of school she can go to, and I think Takahashi will be able to fill that role well. I felt a bit uneasy when he asked to come over just to talk to Rei as if he was using his kindness towards Hina to get closer to Rei, but my fears were alleviated with that fastball. Takahashi telling those asshats the baseball equivalent of "get fucked" was beautiful. Rei getting so pumped up over winning these games just so he can earn money for Hina is adorable. The writing on the chalkboard made me soooo livid. That's the shit that drives people to fucking suicide. The teacher had the audacity to ask Kawamoto why it was up there, which made me furious. Kawamoto's response was perfect, and hopefully, the teacher realizes just how much of a failure she has been as an educator. Brilliant. |

Perhaps she was in shock, but what made her think to question the person who was the SUBJECT to the slander written on the board? Hina couldn't have given a better, more well-composed answer than she did. But personally I wouldn't have minded it at all if she snapped back asking why tf she would write that about herself. |

| Kiriyama is such a caring person. Though making Takahashi spend time with Hina would only cause problems for Hina, it seems Takahashi can handle that aspect and protect Hina as well. Though problematic, it is always good to show bullies that u have got allies too. |

I knew he was gonna get revenge on those b!tches for being uppity classless skanks lol And now...well, if the damn teacher turns the table on Hina after seeing what was written on the board, I'd say that woman needs to be terminated and sent to rehab coz she's got quite a few screws loose or something. If she's after image and thinks none of her precious students can commit such ugly things, well, she needs somewhat to whack her head wide open so she can start seeing things from a wider perspective, not just her narrow view. |
