welp, i feel stupid now, first of all, thanks for taking your time to write a response to my question, but also, i figured it out on my own by trial and error, turns out all i had to do was extract the winrar file of black souls II onto my desktop, then open the new folder and double click the game file(which no longer was a .exe file so i was worried but it still started my game), now i still don't get a prompt to add new files(save files) when i close the game, but it does save now as i just finnished testing to see if it works, i will try this method now with the other games that i also had the same problem with, but given the similiar circumstances i reckon it will also work on themHoly fuck there's black souls on igg? God damn those fuckers genuinely have every game out there, sadly they're sometimes laced with malwere, so i wouldn't recommend using them, visitYou must be registered to see the linksfor proper sources
That aside, i can't say i know what the issue is, however i recommend you try another thing out, when you save, go into your game folder, you can do it on a new save folder or an old one, if a new save file appears or an old one i updated, you could use this to circumvent the issue perhaps? As for the issue itself, can't say i know much
