Announcement Date
editI think this page could benefit from adding a column for official announcement dates for each position. Announcement date is included on the Second cabinet of Donald Trump page in addition to the assuming office date. Lexicon Insight (talk) 17:09, 19 November 2024 (UTC)
Matt Gaetz inclusion
editShould Gaetz even be put in this article? Donald Trump is not yet the President of the United States, and the announcements (despite the work done on this article) are not yet appointments. Gaetz withdrew before any official process involving his appointment or nomination to the role of Attorney General actually began. This is an unprecedented move, to my knowledge no one announced by a President-elect of the United States withdrew their name from consideration after the announcement made by the transition. For reference, Neera Tanden, who received an official nomination by President Joe Biden and was the transition's announced candidate, withdrew from consideration after being referred to committee in the Senate. Tanden is omitted from the List of political appointments by Joe Biden and List of Executive Office appointments by Joe Biden articles. Mortifeye (talk) 19:03, 21 November 2024 (UTC)
Missing appointees
editJames Braid (incoming director of the Office of Legislative Affairs) and Matthew Brasseaux (incoming director of the Office of Political Affairs) aren't listed on this page: [1] --1990'sguy (talk) 02:32, 4 December 2024 (UTC)
Layout
editWhy are the departments alphabetical instead of by line of succession? Dickeyaustin786 (talk) 13:57, 12 December 2024 (UTC)
Red links
edit@Aisrotkev8000: Removing links to articles that have not been created but have drafts is disruptive. See WP:REDDEAL. Keep the links there; they will be moved to mainspace eventually. elijahpepe@wikipedia (he/him) 14:34, 17 December 2024 (UTC)
Pictures
editI'm seeing a wealth of pictures in Google images for many named appointees. Perhaps they could be provided. BTW, a passing thought on looking up pictures is that the ethnic distribution of picks is so striking as to seem deliberately weighted. A section focusing on that salient phenomenon might be in order. Perhaps it could be subsumed under the existing "Reception". JohndanR (talk) 19:14, 22 December 2024 (UTC)
I see pic come in all shapes and sizees does it really matter if we have Chopped/Closeups or unchopped? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1004:A031:5523:258B:4A81:3DF7:FF2C (talk) 18:17, 18 January 2025 (UTC)

I don’t think it’s necessary to have acting appointments if they were only there for a short period of time
editThe Biden article did not have acting appointments unless they were serving for a extended period of time, the acting nominees just add unnecessary clutter Joshthepanthersfan (talk) 01:42, 23 January 2025 (UTC)
Some Ideas
editHere are some Ideas I have to swink down the page I think for the refs for each of the Cabinet and level members we should have the offical ref for them and the lower Cabs below the Cab, https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/2025/01/cabinet-and-cabinet-level-appointments/ https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/2025/01/sub-cabinet-appointments/ And He did appoint Chairmen and Acting Chairmen of Indpindent Boards. https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/2025/01/designation-of-chairmen-and-acting-chairmen/
And Why is every person the President is appointing is on here this is why we have other pages for the lower staff like all the ambassaders and all of the attornes? The first Trump appointment page only has the 2 main jobs and the full Senate vote Secretary and Deputy Sec. Thanks so mutch. 2600:1004:A032:7F2A:3C4F:9B4:816:7DB (talk) 16:41, 26 January 2025 (UTC)
Appointments and References January and Febuary 2025
editOk this page is missing the References for mostly all of the appointments we need to add them Under this section please add your appointment and Reference I know most people like me don't know how to add the References to the page like other users but we need to get things back in order.

Official Senate Nomination list

Ambassadors vs Charge de affairs
editThere’s no such thing as a acting ambassador, they’re called charge de affairs, and they’re not the same, please remove that sea of yellow Joshthepanthersfan (talk) 00:35, 10 March 2025 (UTC)
- I Updated the Color to orange to all of them but I think we should get rid of all the lower people any ways becuse it's not like the first Trump appointment page which only has the 2 main jobs for each department thats why someone made more pages for each department so there are not mutch people on here. And The VA never got a page made for there appointments.2600:1004:A032:64B0:DC99:1E34:4049:82AA (talk) 2600:1004:A032:64B0:DC99:1E34:4049:82AA (talk) 02:51, 23 March 2025 (UTC)
